  1. It is, actually, important to tell your kids what's coming as much as you possibly can. Kids who are not told whether or not they are getting shots will always be afraid of the doctor. If they are consistently told if they will get shots or will not get shots, then they won't be afraid when they don't have to be.

  2. That’s sage advice. And I do tell my kids about upcoming shots, though the amount of notice I give and how to frame it are still hard to get just right.
